Veteran's Program

Thanks to all who came out tonight to help with our Veteran's program. The program of the evening consisted of a short talk on Mason's who fought on both sides of the civil war, along with a program that recognized members who served our Country.

We are forever indebted to those who established and have protected our freedoms.

Fruit Basket Deliveries

On Sunday, December 19th, several members of Johnson City Unity Lodge No. 970 delivered 13 fruit baskets to home bound members and surviving loved ones. Thank you to all who helped. Happy Holidays and best wishes for a safe and enjoyable 2011!

2010 Holiday Dinner Honors Family and Surviving Loved Ones

On Friday, December 10th, Johnson City Unity Lodge No. 970 honored family and surviving loved ones. The night consisted of dinner followed by entertainment provided by local high school choral group, The Johnson City Sophisticats. The night concluded with roses being given to all women in attendance. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this an enjoyable night for the approximately 60 people in attendance.

Second Degree Practices

DDGM Official Visit and Dinner

On Thursday, November 11th, Johnson City Unity Lodge No. 970 met for the District Deputy Grand Master's official visit. The dinner preceding the meeting was well attended. R∴W∴ Edward R. Well, District Deputy Grand Master for the Broome-Chenango district entered and delivered the Grand Master's message.

Senior Grand Warden Apron Presentation

On Friday, October 30 2010, R∴W∴ Thomas M. "Tim" McMullin received his Senior Grand Warden Apron. Tim is a member member of both Johnson City Unity Lodge No. 970 and St. Mark's-Philetus Lodge No. 1001. The event was held at Round Hill Lodge in Endicott, NY and consisted of a dinner followed by the presentation ceremony. Many members from Grand Lodge, including M∴W∴ Vincent Libone, were in attendance.

Date Change - Wives & Surviving Spouses Holiday Dinner

The date for the Wives & Surviving Spouses Holiday Dinner has been changed to Friday, December 10th. Dinner will still be at 6:30pm with entertainment by the Sophisticats to follow at 7:30pm.

Dinner to Precede DDGM Official Visit

Our next meeting will be the official visit of our District Deputy Grand Master, R∴W∴ Edward R. Wells at 7:30pm. The meeting will be preceded by a dinner at 6:30pm. Reservations may be made until Tuesday, November 9th by contacting the Junior Warden, Senior Warden, or Master.

Special Communication Wednesday November 17th

Johnson City Unity Lodge No. 970 will hold a special communication on Wednesday, November 17th at 6:30pm for the purpose of conferring the First Degree. Notice will be sent out by mail shortly.
